Important updates (New on Top)

• We had two cars broken into on 08/02-2008 one on Spanish Moss West and one on Winding Woods near the tennis courts both cars were unlocked! For those cars that were hit be sure to call it in to the Sheriff if you haven't already.
• six mail boxes were vandalized by hitting them with an objeck from a moving vehicle. The trail leads back to Cypress Hammock. We think we know who was involved but would like more proof. If you have any information that may help us pursue the villians involved please come forward. The  cost of replaceing these boxes for the homeowners will be substantial. This is not a small crime. We encourage all homeowners that s boxes were hit to call  the alternate response unit 688-3613 and file a report. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
• We had a car broken into on 02-08-2008 on Winding Woods Drive. Please call the above number with any leads that may help apprehend the perpetrators. A small red car was seen in the vicinity. BE ALERT! REPORT UNUSUAL  ACTIVITY!

• We had an attempted break in on Cypress Edge Drive 10:15 PM Thursday night;
  14 February 2008. Patio slider glass completely shattered by the impact of the forcible entry attempt.  Resident shouted and the perps got away.
• We want to know who is littering up our neighborhood! If you know or have seen any of this happening you need to help us stop these irresponsible actions! We will be installing heavy duty trash cans around the common areas. In the interim please report these people via the web site.
• We need your help! Keeping unwanted and non-resident people from any Cypress Trails common area. If you see unwanted activity take as much information down as possible such as license plate numbers, identities, whatever transgressions took place, times and dates, types and colors of cars. Don't be afraid to ask if they are residents and where they live. If they don't reside here politely tell them this area is for residents only and that they must move on. Do not argue if they won't leave just call the number above and describe all that you have seen. This will not go away without all of our involvement.
